Emiratis and British nationals top lists of new registered owners

Dubai: The number of new property owners registered with the Dubai Land and Property Department reached 19,012 in the first half of this year, a statement said.
Property market analysts said the figures reflect the attractiveness of the emirate's property market to property investors of all nationalities.
UK male buyers topped the list of new property owners with 17 per cent, followed by Emiratis at 17 per cent and Pakistanis by 15 per cent.
Emirati women topped the list of new female buyers at 21 per cent, followed by their British counterparts at 18 per cent and Indians at 13 per cent.
The data showed an increase in the number of investors caused by the attractiveness of the property markets and investment opportunities it provides in Dubai, as well as the increasing role of long-term investors in the property market.
