Dubai: Omar Ayesh, founder and president of Sharjah-based developer Tameer Holding, has decided to step down as company president, in order to allow other senior executives to lead the company.
The Board of Directors of Tameer Holding has announced an important change in the organisational structure of the company.
Omar Ayesh said, "Tameer Holding has achieved unprecedented success in the real estate sector, having launched and executed a number of leading property projects on the local and regional levels".
"It is high time the company's executive managers take over the responsibilities of the daily management of the firm, and follow up the plans laid by the company's Board of Directors. I am confident that the highly skilled personnel whom we have appointed in the company will carry out these duties efficiently and professionally."
As a member of the Board and a partner within the group, Ayesh will continue to take care of strategic issues within the firm.
Under Ayesh's leadership, Tameer saw massive progress and received various accolades, most recently the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Business Award in the Real Estate Development category, in recognition of the firm's significant contributions to the UAE's real estate sector.
Tameer also started building complete cities in Jordan, UAE and Libya under Ayesh's guidance.
