New chief operations officer for Sorouh Real Estate
Sorouh Real Estate PJSC, Abu Dhabi-based real estate developer, announced the appointment of Samer Abu-Hijleh as the company's new Chief Operations Officer.
Abu Dhabi: Sorouh Real Estate PJSC, Abu Dhabi-based real estate developer, announced the appointment of Samer Abu-Hijleh as the company's new Chief Operations Officer.
Mounir D Haidar, Chief Executive Officer, Sorouh Real Estate PJSC, said: "Mr. Abu-Hijleh brings a wealth of experience to the role of Chief Operations Officer from a long and successful career managing large construction projects around the world. His appointment underlines our commitment to delivering Sorouh's many landmark developments on time."
Abu-Hijleh has more than 20 years experience of developing, master planning, and managing the engineering and construction of large infrastructure, airport, port, water, power and building projects in testing environments around the world.
Prior to joining Sorouh, Abu-Hijleh spent the majority of his career managing projects for Bechtel, one of the world's largest engineering firms. He has a PhD in civil engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and has lectured courses in project development and management.
