Land transactions top Dh84m in Dubai yesterday
The total value of land transactions in Dubai yesterday was Dh84.81 million, of which sales exceeded Dh31 million.
Dubai: The total value of land transactions in Dubai yesterday was Dh84.81 million, of which sales exceeded Dh31 million. The total value of mortgages during the day was Dh53.77 million, according to the Land Department. A total of 11 sales transactions were registered with the department by the end of the day, the most valuable of which was a plot in Al Baraha that was sold for Dh7.33 million. The next two most prominent sales saw a second plot in Al Waheda acquired for Dh5 million and another in Al Barsha-1 for Dh4.22 million.
Aviation: UAE signs air traffic MoU with Argentina
Dubai: The UAE and Argentina have agreed to expand air traffic and allocated 28 frequencies per week in each direction in accordance with a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). In addition to this, the designated airlines of each country will be allowed to operate unrestricted scheduled or unscheduled cargo frequencies, with any type of aircraft, with an open route schedule.
Telecoms: TRA to introduce digital broadcasting
Dubai: The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) will facilitate the introduction of digital broadcasting technologies in the country. Digital broadcasting is approximately six times more efficient than analogue, allowing more channels to be carried across fewer airwaves.
