Dubai: Abu Dhabi based Aldar Properties said yesterday it had completed the land reclamation, ground improvement and development of the diaphragm sea walls on its Al Bandar and Al Muneera projects.
The foundations of these projects are already well under construction. Aldar is showcasing these projects at Cityscape Dubai taking place at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre from October 16 to 18.
The two projects on Al Raha Beach are also on schedule for several other construction milestones. The work on the supporting infrastructure for Al Bandar and Al Muneera are also set to reach their target dates for completion. The canal bridge crossings, and the highway interchanges are all progressing and are set to achieve the prescribed completion date. In addition the boulevard and access roads are also attaining incremental target dates. With the subcontractors for utilities nearly finalised, the contracts and schedule will be complete by the end of 2007.
"Aldar is committed to timely delivery of its projects, and we are very pleased with the progress so far at Al Bandar and Al Muneera," said Al Raha Beach Development director, Michael Cox. "Our experience in this industry, coupled with our strong relationships with quality suppliers, allows the team to focus on the quality standards that our customers expect, while staying on the schedule we set out from the start."
Al Bandar, designed by leading architects Broadway Malyan of the United Kingdom, is positioned on the waterfront of Abu Dhabi and will create a unique and prestigious residential and commercial destination.
Al Muneera, a development that makes up a part of Khor Al Raha, one of eleven precincts within the Al Raha Beach precinct, offers a mix of luxury living in magnificent villas with waterfront and canal views as well as distinctly designed multi-storey apartment buildings.
