Giga launches Dh2b Smart City in Ajman
Dubai: Giga Group, one of the leading property developers in the region, on Sunday launched its Smart City project in Ajman. Smart City is a Dh2 billion freehold residential development comprising eight luxury residential towers.
The project is spread across an impressive built-up area of 4.2 million square feet along the Emirates Road and is being developed by Goldcrest Properties, a member of the Giga Group.
With the announcement, Smart City opened sales in their new Goldcrest office and sales centre with prices starting from approximately Dh565 per square foot.
Inspiration
Amir Giga, managing dir-ector of Goldcrest Properties, said, "The new residential development has been launched following the tremendous success of our signature developments in Jumeirah Lake Towers (Dubai) and Emirates City (Ajman) which were sold out in record time. Smart City will be a picture of inspiration, with environs which only enhance its value. We are confident that the quality of planning and attention to detail that we have employed in the execution of this project will be highly appreciated by the residents of this community, in terms of both function and aesthetics."
Located on Emirates Road, Smart City will offer over 3,500 luxury apartments comprising studios, single-bedroom and double-bedroom units.
The Giga Group is offering tenants and investors in-house interest-free financing options with flexible payment plans.
In addition, due to growing concerns with regards to Ajman's infrastructure and utilities, the Giga Group guarantees electricity to all home owners of Smart City in conjunction with the Master Developer, Bonyan Investment Group.
Giga Group introduces the concept of smart living with ultra modern home-auto-mation facilities and appliances.
Vision: What is a smart city?
According to the US Department of Energy's 'The Vision of A Smart City', a smart city is "the urban centre of the future, made safe, secure, environmentally green, and efficient because all structures - whether for power, water, transportation, etc. are designed, constructed, and maintained making use of advanced, integrated materials, sensors, electronics, and networks which are interfaced with computerised systems comprised of databases, tracking, and decision-making algorithms."
