Dubai: Sorouh Real Estate announced yesterday that it has awarded the design contract of the Nagfa Hotel and Mall in Al Ain to a team led by Ewan Architectural and Engineering Consultancy.
Added to Al Oyoun Village in Al Nagfa area, these two projects create a substantial portfolio for Sorouh in Al Ain, and affirm Sorouh's dedication to enhancing the natural beauty of the city.
Mounir Haidar, CEO of Sorouh, commented: "We are committed to developing this project in keeping with both the natural landscape and the traditional architectural language of the existing Al Oyoun Village."
Enduring partnership
"Sorouh and Ewan worked successfully together on Al Oyoun Village and we are confident they understand our vision and are committed to completing this project in a timely fashion and to the highest possible standards," added Haidar.
The Al Nagfa Hotel will boast 160 rooms ranging from standard to executive and ambassador suites. An additional 70 chalets, located close to the pool and water features, will be designed so that several chalets can be joined internally to become a large family chalet. Built at the top of the Al Nagfa hill, guests can expect uninterrupted views of the specially designed landscape. The Al Nagfa Hotel will offer facilities like an indoor and outdoor spa, gym, infinity pool, a kids club, tennis courts as well as a restaurant with stunning views across Al Ain.
When completed, the Al Nagfa Mall will be a major shopping and leisure destination for residents and visitors in Al Ain.
With half a million square ft of retail and entertainment space spread across four levels, the mall will not only house a multi-screen cinema, restaurants, supermarket and food court, but also a traditional souq inspired shopping area.
"This development continues Sorouh's quest to offer residents, investors and guests alike an exceptional environment in which to work, relax, shop and live life," said Haidar.
