Dubai: In line with a growing need to combat escalating house prices in the UAE and to allow single people to buy property, a $720-million equestrian development has been launched.
The Escape project in Ajman aims to target first-time property buyers. It offers a new concept in the Dubai market called "Saddle Homes".
These homes will comprise 140 units, designed in configurations of four per building.
The launch price for a unit is around Dh1.39 million and each unit is 1,754 square feet.
"The Saddle Homes are really an option for people who want to live in this community and the healthy sporting lifestyle it promotes but cannot afford a full villa. Most married couples or singles have to settle with high-rise apartments," Anwar Sher, general manager of Escape told Gulf News.
Aadil Sher, sales consultant for Escape, said that the homes were designed to fit a "niche in the market".
"These homes are ideal as a starter home for young couples or professional singles, or as a holiday retreat for residents of other emirates and abroad," said Aadil Sher.
Escape is an 8.2 million square foot development located and will offer 500 three-bedroom and four-bedroom villas and 16 low-rise apartment buildings.
