Dubai, Malta ink land registration pact

Agreement puts in place formal channel to share knowledge and expertise

Dubai: The Land Department, Dubai's official land registry, has signed a bilateral technical accord with the Government Property Division of the Parliamentary Secretariat for Revenues and Land in Malta.

Sultan Bin Butti Bin Mejren, director-general of the Land Department, signed the agreement at an official ceremony held at the Fairmont Hotel in Dubai on Saturday morning. Dr Jason Azzopardi, Malta's minister for revenues and land, signed the agreement on behalf of Malta, which was also represented by Anthony Tabone, Consul General for Malta in Dubai.

The 12-month rolling agreement puts in place a formal channel for the two partners to share knowledge and expertise.
