Drei to show educational plan for next year
The Dubai Real Estate Institute (Drei), the first specialised real estate academic institution in the region, yesterday announced it will introduce its educational plan for 2009 at Cityscape Dubai 2008.
Dubai: The Dubai Real Estate Institute (Drei), the first specialised real estate academic institution in the region, yesterday announced it will introduce its educational plan for 2009 at Cityscape Dubai 2008.
Drei is marking its second successive year of participation at Cityscape Dubai, which will be held at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre from October 6-9.
Exhibiting under the umbrella of Sama Dubai, the real estate investment and development arm of Dubai Holding, the Drei stand will showcase details of the 26 executive education courses it will offer during 2009. The selection of courses will include themes as diverse as "Real estate portfolio management", "Marketing and Sales", "Strategic Urban Design", "Risk Management" and "Facility Management". The courses will be presented by professors from renowned academic institutions.
Dr Salem Al Shafiei, Managing Director of Drei, said: "We consider Cityscape Dubai a vital industry platform that brings together regional and international investors, property developers, governmental and development authorities, leading architects, designers and consultants. Such a forum offers potential to network with key professionals and gauge latest industry trends."
Offering Masters of real estate development programme covering various segments of the real estate sector in partnership with renowned universities, Drei seeks to reinforce its commitment to developing the next generation of leaders.
