DREI eyes tie-up with UK surveyor body
Dubai Real Estate Institute (DREI) has initiated partnership talks with UK-based Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, the institute said on Saturday.
Dubai: Dubai Real Estate Institute (DREI) has initiated partnership talks with UK-based Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, the institute said on Saturday.
Dr Salem Al Shafiei, managing director, DREI, recently met with David Tuffin, president of RICS, to discuss strategic alliances for developing the real estate sector in the UAE.
Key representatives of RICS-UAE, including its chairman Martin Seward Case, and Alan England, regional director of AIME, were present at the meeting that also focused on raising the standard of the region's real estate professionals by offering joint educational programmes, conferences and collaborations in research and development.
RICS is a global standards and membership organisation for professionals involved in land, valuation, real estate, construction, and environmental issues.
It aims to deliver education and training; protect consumers through ethics and standards; advise global organisations, and publish market information.
