Dubai: The Burj Dubai is now taller than any other structure in the Middle East and Europe.

At 110 storeys and 380 metres, it has the largest number of floors of any building in the world, matching Chicago's Sears Tower.

Its previous rivals in the region were the Burj Al Arab (321 metres), Emirates Towers Hotel (309 metres) and Kingdom Centre, Saudi Arabia (302 metres).
