Abu Dhabi: Oil retailers in Dubai will raise diesel prices from tomorrow by Dh1.50 a gallon, due to a steep increase in global crude oil prices which are at all-time highs.
"The new retail pump price of diesel will be Dh18.50 per gallon," an oil industry source familiar with the developments told Gulf News on Sunday.
The decision to raise diesel prices comes after a meeting of oil retailers earlier on Sunday. The Dubai oil retailers buy diesel at the prevailing international prices. Diesel currently sells at Dh17 per gallon in Dubai.
Spokesmen for Enoc/Eppco and Emarat were not available for comment when reached by Gulf News.
