Abu Dhabi: Sharjah-based Crescent Petroleum yesterday said its plans for oil exploration in war-battered Iraq are progressing and a further review would be conducted next month.
"Technical teams from the two sides are expected to meet next month to review the basic seismic and well data of the block and agree on the detailed study and training programmes," a company statement said.
This came in the wake of the first meeting of the Joint Steering Committee for technical cooperation between Crescent Petroleum and Iraq's Ministry of Oil in London last week.
