Dubai: Forty lucky shoppers stand to win Dh40,000 each as the Dubai Shopping Malls Group rolls out a high-profile promotion for the UAE's 40th National Day celebrations.
The campaign by the Dubai Shopping Malls Group is organised in tandem with the Dubai Events and Promotions Establishment (DEPE).
"DEPE is always looking for new ideas, schemes and initiatives that support the retail sector and the community, and we congratulate the participating member malls of DSMG who have come together this year to celebrate UAE National Day in a unique manner," said Laila Suhail, CEO of DEPE.

The prizes worth Dh40,000 each include a combination of cash and gift vouchers from Rivoli outlets.
Four raffle draws will be held throughout the campaign with each draw producing ten winners. The draws will be held on November 6, 17, 24 and December 2.
"Retail trade has been playing a major role in diversifying the UAE economy and by participating in the celebrations on the occasion of the UAE's 40th National Day we hope we can further consolidate the UAE's position as one of the world's leading shopping destinations," said Salem Al Ghurair, CEO of Al Ghurair Centre.
The coupons can be obtained on any purchase of at least Dh200 in any of the 21 participating malls, including Al Ghurair Centre, Deira City Centre, Festival Centre Dubai Festival City, the Gold and Diamond Park and Ibn Battuta Mall.

Retail revolution
Raffle coupons must be obtained in lieu of purchase receipts issued on or between the raffle draw dates. The coupon barrel will be emptied after each draw and coupons from the previous date will not be carried forward. "Through this campaign, we also intend to celebrate our customers who are at the heart of the retail revolution, by offering them several chances to win exciting prizes on the 40th UAE National Day," said Majid Al Ghurair, chairman of Dubai Shopping Malls Group.
