Two-day holiday for markets
The Emirates Securities and Commodities Authority (ESCA) has announced that the securities markets will remain closed on Sunday and Monday, December 2 and 3, to mark the 36th anniversary of the UAE National Day.
Abu Dhabi: The Emirates Securities and Commodities Authority (ESCA) has announced that the securities markets will remain closed on Sunday and Monday, December 2 and 3, to mark the 36th anniversary of the UAE National Day.
The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) will also remain closed on December 2 and 3 and work in both ESCA and DFM will be resumed on Tuesday.
Banking industry sources said yesterday banks will remain closed on December 2 and will remain open on December 1 and 3.
