The National Medical Care Company of Saudi Arabia has appointed Riyad Capital as financial adviser and manager for its initial public offering, the Al Jazirah newspaper reported. Director General Othman Abahussein was reported as saying NMC planned to expand.
Dual currency syndicate
Qatar's Al Khalij Commercial Bank said yesterday it participated recently in the $255 million dual currency Islamic structured Murabaha syndicated facility for Turkey's largest Islamic bank, Bank Asya. Turkey's biggest Islamic Murabaha syndication ever in dual currency was $121.5 million (Dh446 million) and 99.15 million euros, and oversubscribed.
Al Argan profit
Kuwaiti property developer Al Argan International Real Estate Company told the stock market it expected to make a profit of 48.3 million riyals (Dh47.16 million) from the sale of one of its units in Saudi Arabia.
Ahmadi steps down
Mobile Telecommunications Company Saudi Arabia, known as Zain Saudi Arabia, said Marwan Al Ahmadi, one of Kuwait Zain Group's representatives on the board, has stepped down for personal reasons.
Turkcell expansion
Mobile phone company Turkcell Iletisim Hizmetleri said it was considering buying a stake in Zain, Kuwait's largest mobile operator. Turkcell is considering expanding in eastern Europe, North Africa and around Turkey.
