Mumbai: Financial markets in India were closed on Thursday following the coordinated terrorist attacks in Mumbai that left at least 101 people dead.

It is unclear when trading will resume.

The attacks shook the nation's financial capital on Wednesday night and a standoff between militants and police officials continued on Thursday morning.
