Firms raise price of cooking gas
Two gas companies have increased the price of liquid petroleum gas (LPG) in the UAE.

Dubai: Two gas companies have increased the price of liquid petroleum gas (LPG) in the UAE.
Emirate Gas and Gas Al Emarat, in circulars to gas distributors, raised the prices for 11 kilogram cylinder from Dh38 to Dh43; 22kg cylinder from Dh69 to Dh79 and 33kg cylinder from Dh129 to Dh143.
Senior officials from Emirate Gas said the increase in gas price was necessitated by global price rise of the commodity.
