Dow, Nasdaq turn positive on HP results, outlook
Dow and Nasdaq stock index futures turned positive on Tuesday after stronger-than-expected results and outlook from Hewlett Packard Co offset worries about the economy.
New York: Dow and Nasdaq stock index futures turned positive on Tuesday after stronger-than-expected results and outlook from Hewlett Packard Co offset worries about the economy.
Dow Jones industrial average futures rose 13 points, and Nasdaq 100 futures rose 3.5 points.
S&P 500 futures were 1.8 points lower and were roughly in line with fair value, a formula that evaluates pricing by taking into account interest rates, dividends and time to expiration on the contract.
