Ras Al Khaimah opens porcelain plant
The Dh80 million RAK Porcelain company was inaugurated on Saturday by Shaikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah.
Ras Al Khaimah: The Dh80 million RAK Porcelain company was inaugurated on Saturday by Shaikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah.
The company will produce 15 million pieces of premium quality porcelain tableware annually.
The production of the state-of-the-art tableware plant will be doubled in the near future. The plant has four models (a model has 86 pieces) and five other models will be introduced soon.
The company manufactures top of the range porcelain tableware and is billed to gain stature as one of the top quality suppliers of exquisite tableware in the industry.
Shaikh Saud said that the launch of RAK Porcelain marks the addition of yet another successful enterprise in the industrial sector of Ras Al Khaimah.
He said that the Government of Ras Al Khaimah is proactively working to encourage businesses and is exerting all possible efforts to remove barriers, which may hamper the investment.
Shaikh Saud said, "We are making our destiny and achieving the emirate's destiny lies with encouraging investments."
