Dubai: The winners of the fifth Middle East CEO awards gave different views on what translates to professional success.
Shaikh Maktoum Bin Hasher Al Maktoum, Young CEO of the Year, tells aspiring CEOs to be efficient with time and never waste it. "My main driving force was seeing the achievements of a lot of family members and others I know. It pushed me to prove myself to them and to myself," he said.
"There is only one way to get here and that is to sacrifice your time and hard work. There is no easy way," Shaikh Maktoum said at the award ceremony in Dubai. Dominique de Villepin, former prime minister of France, was chief guest and presented the awards.
"Shared leadership has been the co-foundation for my success. With that we become much more positive, productive and participative," said R. Seetharaman, the winner in the Finance CEO category.
