Dubai: India's media and entertainment industries should seize investment opportunities in Dubai Studio City (DSC), a zone dedicated to film, television and music business, a senior official said.
Dubai Studio City, a member of Dubai Holding, highlighted its investment potential at a global business forum organised by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) as part of the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards 2006.
Addressing the forum that was conducted at the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mohammad Al Mulla, director of Dubai Media City, welcomed the FICCI delegation on behalf of Dr Ameenah Rustamani, executive director of Media for Tecom Investments.
"Huge investments have been initiated to create top-of-the-line infrastructure across different business sectors," Al Mulla said.
"In the future, DSC sees collaboration opportunities for investment in production houses, film, television, and music studios. Together, we can sustain industry-to-industry connections," he said.
