MCT opens new unit to meet rising demand
UAE-based MCT Group of Companies on Wednesday said it has opened a manufacturing facility in Dubai Investment Park.

Dubai: UAE-based MCT Group of Companies on Wednesday said it has opened a manufacturing facility in Dubai Investment Park.
The 18,500 square-metre eco-friendly factory will accommodate the manufacturing of MCT's products catering to their existing client base as well as booming regional industries including oil and gas, construction, marine, and district cooling.
The fully automated plant, with a maximum annual output capacity of 60 million litres of concrete admixtures, 5,000 tonnes of sheet molding compound, five million litres of epoxy and liquid-based products and 10,000 tonnes of powder blended products is the latest addition to the expanding capabilities of the group, and highlights the unique fundamentals in which MCT prides itself on - being a locally founded company manufacturing products for UAE industries while contributing to the UAE economy.
Commitment
Group CEO Peter Gaskin said: "MCT has come a long way since its inception 27 years ago when we established ourselves as a credible supplier introducing the concept of corrosion control techniques. Since that day we haven't looked back, our investment of Dh25 million in plant development is a clear indication of how serious our commitment is to our customers, quality of service and to the UAE."
MCT also have the added advantage of understanding the regional market and its expectations. The ability to provide the best locally manufactured products and ultimately delivering on customer requirements has aided in the successful integration of the MCT name into the industry.
