Leading UAE institutions seek to strengthen ties

The Mohammad Bin Rashid Housing Establishment has signed a cooperation and strategic partnership agreement with the Mohammad Bin Rashid Establishment for Young Business Leaders.

Dubai: The Mohammad Bin Rashid Housing Establishment has signed a cooperation and strategic partnership agreement with the Mohammad Bin Rashid Establishment for Young Business Leaders.

The agreement aims to boost institutional frameworks to the standards of the Dubai Government Excellence Programme. The agreement was signed by the housing esablishment chief executive and managing director, Rashid Mohammad Al Mutawwa and young business leaders' executive director, Abdul Basit Al Janahi.

The agreement, among other things, calls for the setting up of a joint committee to be known as Committee for Cooperation and Strategic Partnership.

The committee, consisting of members of the same levels from the two sides, will have multiple responsibilities, including drawing the areas of cooperation and mutual benefit, drawing strategic plans for the partnership and referring those plans to the executive directors of the two organisations for approval.

Follow up

The committee will also follow up the execution of those plans and present regular reports to the executive directors of the two institutions. The reports will reflect the level of cooperation between the two institutions and contain recommendations by the committee. The committee will also coordinate works and responsibilities of the two sides in accordance with the tenets of the agreement.

"This agreement aims at consolidating the existing strategic cooperation between the two institutions, boosting the sharing of experience and benefiting from the human and technical capabilities of each other in all areas," said Al Mutawwa.

"It also aims at boosting partnership between the two sides to achieve the vision of our wise leadership in the areas of housing services and supporting the projects of young business leaders" said in a statement"

Al Mutawwa pointed out that the MoU seeks to enhance transparency as a basic principle of managing the existing relations of cooperation and strategic partnership between the two organisations. He said it also seeks to boost mutual support for members of the two institutions in all the services required, giving priority to each other in government procurement system and cooperation in work, training and various professional areas.

It added that it also seeks to harmonise the two sides' institutional cultures, boost skills, creative applications and innovative thinking, improve relations at all administrative levels, provide value addition and boost opportunity for progress and ensure customer satisfaction.
