Dubai: Movie lovers in the UAE are in for a box-office bonanza unlike anything witnessed in the region this November with the staging of mega open-air entertainment events in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
The movie spectacle is a collaboration between SwissOpenAir Concept AG (Ltd.), the Swiss-based global entertainment giant that has enthralled the world with its unique brand of open air cinema screening, and Hydra Properties, one the finest quality lifestyle space providers in the UAE real estate market.
The Hydra Open Air Cinema UAE 2008, a twenty four-night extravaganza spread across 12 days each in the two emirates, will feature a large-scale Open Air Cinema, a festival of international cuisine and outstanding shows supported by cutting-edge technology.
Dr. Sulaiman Al Fahim, the CEO of Hydra Properties said: "Swiss OpenAir Concept has conducted a thorough study of the demographics involved in the movie market, and the kind of movies shown will reflect the people's tastes as well as suit the outdoor movie experience. By screening a Bollywood movie and an Arabic film apart from the Hollywood blockbusters at each of the venues, the event will cater to all segments of the UAE's multi-cultural population. We are sure that this will be a grand success and the fact that we have a three year deal with Swiss OpenAir Concept should reflect our confidence in this venture."
