Do you think the allotted time will increase the number of tourists visiting Dubai? Is the time sufficient or should the dateline be further extended? Will this move help span out traffic, as people would have more time to shop? Tell us at letter2editor@gulfnews.com or fill in the form bellow to send your comments.

Extending the dates for opening global village will make its value lose ..instead it should be opened during DSF and also for few days before or after DSF..

The last Global Village I had visited was the most boring of all. There was no cultural sense whatsoever. Hopefully this year they may bring a lot of cultural shows within each pavilion to bring the countries in highlight and what they are all about. What we need is also local food restaurants of all participating countries rather than having the usual burgers and fastfood chains.

The extension of Global Village scheduled time may increase tourism to some extent. However, the possibility of spanning out of traffic may not really hold good as clearance sales and discounts will prevail only during the last week of the event!
