Footfall increases by a third at Plug-Ins during DSF

Children's Creative Centre at Deira City Centre mall offers arts and crafts activities to families until next Wednesday

  • Sale promotions welcome shoppers at the Deira City Centre as part of festivities of the 15th Dubai Shopping Festival. The Children's Creative Centre will welcome families at Deira City Centre until February 24.

Dubai: Plug-Ins, Al Futtaim's multi-brand electronics and IT retailer, yesterday announced a 32 per cent increase in visitor footfall during the first three weeks of the Dubai Shopping Festival.

As part of its exciting DSF offers on a minimum spend of Dh300 customers will enter in to a raffle draw to win a grand prize of Dh25,000-worth of Plug-Ins gift vouchers, two second prizes of Samsung LED TVs and three Acer Notebooks as third prize.

In addition, the Plug-Ins Scratch and Win competition will see customers walk away with daily prizes which include a 42-inch LCD TV, mobile phones, weekend stays, desert safaris and much more.

Meanwhile, children can get creative with Disney at Deira City Centre as junior visitors will have the opportunity to express their creative side through fun and play this Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF), as the mall introduces a Children's Creative Centre featuring Disney's most popular characters.

The Deira City Centre Children's Creative Centre will thrill and excite kids this DSF with a host of arts and crafts — including colouring, puzzles and blocks, face painting, story telling and an interactive dress-up area where children can adorn the costume of their favourite cartoon character and pose for their very own fairytale picture.

The Children's Creative Centre will welcome families at Deira City Centre until February 24, in addition to an exhilarating array of roaming performances including musicians, dance groups and balloon and comedy acts throughout the Mall.
