ETA Star unit wins Dh835m electricity deal in Qatar
ETA Star International, a member of the $5 billion ETA Ascon Star Group, has won a contract valued at Dh835 million from the Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation.
Dubai: ETA Star International, a member of the $5 billion ETA Ascon Star Group, has won a contract valued at Dh835 million from the Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation for Phase-8 of the power transmission system expansion.
"The scope of work involves supply, installation, testing and laying of high voltage electric power cables in various parts of Doha, Qatar," the company said in a statement.
The contract was signed by Abdullah Bin Hamad Al Attiyah, Qatar's Deputy Prime Minster and Minister of Energy and Industry, and Hameed Syed Salahuddin, director of ETA Ascon Star Group.
