DUBAL forms response team following power interruption
Dubai Aluminium Company Limited (DUBAL) experienced an interruption in the power supply on November 2, 2008 that partly affected some of its aluminium production.
Dubai: Dubai Aluminium Company Limited (DUBAL) experienced an interruption in the power supply on November 2, 2008 that partly affected some of its aluminium production.
DUBAL immediately formed an emergency response team that took all necessary emergency procedures and implemented appropriate actions to remedy the situation.
The President and CEO of DUBAL, Abdulla Kalban stressed on the fact that DUBAL considers the safety and health of its employees to be the company's paramount responsibility.
Khalid Eissa Buhumaid, Vice President for Corporate Relations, International Affairs and the official spokesman of DUBAL, said that all necessary safety procedures have been taken, and confirmed that no injuries have been sustained by any individual or employee.
The emergency response team has managed to restore power and is now working on activating the partially affected aluminium production cells.
