Dubai: Visitors at the Khan Murjan Souq in Dubai's Wafi City Mall get to experience what it is like to shop in ancient Arabia.
Khan Murjan Souq, a close copy of an ancient Arabian market, covers an area of 50,000-square-feet.
The underground shopping mall is themed after the legendary Khan Murjan souq in Baghdad of the 1300s.
The air-conditioned Dubai version of the original Khan Murjan is dimly lit and two floors underneath Wafi Mall.
It follows the traditional styles of Egypt, Turkey, Morocco and Syria.
