Dubai: Vietnam has expressed its desire to learn from the experience of Dubai Airport Free Zone when it sets up its own free zone in Hanoi Airport, according to Dr Mohammad Al Zarouni, Director General of the Dubai Airport Free Zone.
This was the subject of a meeting here between Vietnamese ambassador Nguyen Quang Khai and Dr Mohammad Al Zarouni, Director General of the Dubai Airport Free Zone.
During the meeting, Al Zarouni briefed the Vietnamese envoy on the services and facilities offered by Dubai Free Zone to international companies wishing to take advantage of good investment opportunities in the Middle East.
"There are a lot of opportunities for Vietnamese companies specialising in the electrical and the textile industries and food production to compete in the markets of the UAE and neighbouring markets due to its quality products and competitive prices," Al Zarouni said.
