Deal for better auditing signed
Abu Dhabi-based State Audit Institution (SAI) said on Tuesday it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA).
Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi-based State Audit Institution (SAI) said on Tuesday it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA).
"This is an important step in the improvement of governance, risk management and internal auditing in the federal government," said SAI's President Harib Saeed Al Amimi, in a statement.
IIA President in the UAE Abdulqader Obaid Ali said: "We believe this agreement between the SAI and the IIA is a positive development for improvement of governance, risk management and internal auditing within the federal government and in the UAE."
SAI is an independent body which reports directly to the Federal National Council.
