Dubai: Brazilian companies in the food sector are part of the Brazilian group to participate in the Gulfood, the largest fair in the food sector in the Arab world, which will take place in Dubai from today to Wednesday.
The Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce is coordinating the participation of Brazilian companies in the event, in partnership with the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Food Supply of Brazil, with the intention of expanding the trade exchange and bringing opportunities in Brazil and the region closer together.
With privileged geographic conditions, abundance of natural resources and bordering 10 countries in South America, Brazil is the gateway into the South American Market. The country counts on around 300 days a year of sunlight adequate for agricultural production.
Agribusiness in Brazil is among the most developed in the world and is now living its best moment, being the main player in the Brazilian economy, as well as modern and competitive, presenting a lucrative investment margin.
The sector currently answers to 28 per cent of the country's Gross Domestic Product, generates 37 per cent of all the jobs and almost the same share of Brazilian exports.
