UAE a logistic hub for global trade - Turkey
Turkish Foreign Trade Minister Kursad Tuzmen said the UAE has become a prime logistics centre for global trade.
Ankara: Turkish Foreign Trade Minister Kursad Tuzmen said the UAE has become a prime logistics centre for global trade.
Speaking to WAM on the sidelines of the UAE-Turkish Business Forum currently being held in Ankara, Tuzmen also said that both public and private sectors in Turkey are looking forward to becoming partners in colossal projects in the UAE.
A delegation from the UAE Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry headed by ADCCI Chairman Salah Salem Al Shami is participating in the forum.
Tuzmen hailed the remarkable growth in the industrial sector, IT, construction, aluminium production and banking in the UAE. He said that there is vast scope for several large projects in UAE in the fields of aluminium industry and agriculture.
The minister said that the Turkish businessmen are keen to invest in mega projects in UAE.
