Lubna talks investment with Chinese delegation

Abu Dhabi: Shaikha Lubna Al Qasimi, UAE Minister for Foreign Trade, discussed investment opportunities in the UAE with a Chinese delegation led by Wang Kpoing, head of the municipal council of China's Hongro City.
Shaikha Lubna briefed the Chinese delegation on the process of economic development in the UAE which boosted the country's gross domestic product up to Dh698 billion.
The Chinese delegation said the UAE economy offered good investment opportunities to foreign investors.
Trade between the UAE and China reached $8.9 billion in 2006, up from $3.1 billion in 2002 posting an annual growth rate of 29 per cent.
