Dubai Customs is stepping up cooperation with its counterparts in other places to tackle fake goods getting into the country.
There are around 1,000 inspectors employed in Dubai's fight in the illegal trade.
Last year 40 raids were conducted by Dubai Customs on onshore and free zone businesses suspected of dealing in pirated goods.
