Dubai: The Dubai Mall, one of the world's largest shopping destinations being developed by Emaar Properties at Downtown Burj Dubai, will have leading global brands in its Fashion Avenue precinct.
The mall's fashion zone will have an area of 440,000 square feet with its own entrance.
Featuring 1,200 stores and scheduled to open in August, The Dubai Mall is a key component of the Downtown project.
Emaar said more than 70 signature stores highlighting the latest trends in their global collection will be at the mall.
Among the names that have confirmed opening at Fashion Avenue are Versace, Burberry, Roberto Cavalli, Hugo Boss, Loewe, Galliano, Hermes, Givenchy, Cerruti, Missoni, Tom Ford, Escada, Ermenegildo Zegna and Badgley Mischka, the company said.

"The signing of these luxury brands is a preview of what will be the most exclusive fashion retailing experience never seen before in Dubai," said Jim Badour, chief executive officer of Emaar Malls Group.
He said the mall will be "a one-stop destination for industry trendsetters and fashion enthusiasts around the world."
Fashion events at The Dubai Mall will held using the dedicated Fashion Catwalk, a 20-metre long hydraulic walkway and stage area.
