Dubai: The opening of the much-awaited Dubai Mall has been hit with another delay and will now open its doors next week.
The mall will now open on Tuesday, November 4.
In a statement, developer Emaar said that the Dubai Mall was prepared to open as planned on October 30, but the additional time "will ensure the final touches are in place."
Wednesday's statement did not provide specifics.
This is the second time the mall's opening has been delayed this year.
The flagship development from Emaar, part of the Downtown Burj Dubai development, covers an internal floor area of 5.9 million square feet and expects to attract 30 million customers in its first year of trade.
