Dubai Crown Prince orders implementation of mGovernment

Order is in line with Shaikh Mohammad’s MGovernment initiative

Dubai: Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, has ordered the implementation of the mGovernment initiative in various governmental departments and bodies in Dubai.

The order to implement the initiative aims to achieve integration among federal and local government departments and plans in order to attain the highest levels of proficiency in all forms of services.

The order is in line with the directives and vision of President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan towards developing the system of government work, and comes in response of the initiative launched on Wednesday by His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

Shaikh Hamdan has ordered the directors of all government departments and authorities to follow up on the initiative’s work plan and to abide by the timeframe set by Shaikh Mohammad to complete the transition into the Smart Government phase.

“The UAE is taking confident steps forward in its march for development to keep abreast with progress achieved on the international stage. The UAE has implemented the best practices and methods in the field of government work and performance,” said Shaikh Hamdan.
