Dubai: Al Hanoo Holding is preparing to open the water canal connected to Al Nujoom Islands project in Sharjah, following the completion of the 35 kilometre water canal works.
"With the completion of water canal works, which is considered one the most important stages of development, Al Hanoo is pre-paring to enter a new stage of development for one of the largest and most distinct waterfront projects in the region," said Shaik Abdullah Bin Fahid Al Shakrah, Al Hanoo Holding Chairman.
Engineering staff have completed the water canal, and finished final adjustments on the project's master plan, at a cost of Dh600 million, by implementing a new water cycling system.
The next stage seeks to complete the linking of the islands through a hydraulic method to avoid any sudden pressure caused by seawater entering the canals.
