Jackson to team up with AAJ Holdings
Michael Jackson, who has been living in the region for some time, is about to join hands with Bahrain-based AAJ Holdings Ltd to advise them on creating theme parks and music academies in the region.

Muscat: American pop singer Michael Jackson, who has been living in the region for some time, is about to join hands with Bahrain-based AAJ Holdings Ltd to advise them on creating theme parks and music academies in the region.
"Stagnant architectural structures need content in the form of entertainment to revive them and that's where Michael Jackson will play an integral role," Ahmad Abu Bakr Janahi, owner and founder of AAJ Holdings Ltd, said in a press release here yesterday.
Janahi is also associated with Oman's $20 billion Blue City project and was instrumental in organising Jackson's visit to Muscat recently during which the controversial American pop icon visited the Blue City site.
"Realising the great potential the Gulf region has to offer in the music and entertainment sector, Michael Jackson is in discussions with Janahi, to provide the company and its subsidiaries with consultancy advice relevant to the creation of a full spectrum of entertainment experiences, ranging from theme parks to music academies," the release said.
AAJ Holdings, a Bahraini based company, has interests in various companies around the world.
Janahi's group of companies concentrates on projects involving city and urban developments in general, among other interests. AAJ Holdings was instrumental in the creation of the Bahrain Financial Harbour in Bahrain and is the promoter behind Oman's Blue City.
The announcement of Michael Jackson's discussions with AAJ Holdings comes close on the heels of last week's signing of a $ 1.9 billion construction agreement for work on Phase One of Blue City. The 10 phases of the development will take 15 years to complete at a total estimated cost of $20 billion.
The most visionary urban and lifestyle development in the region, the Blue City will ultimately embrace approximately 34 square kilometres at Al Sawadi on Oman's coast.
