Imdaad unveils power division to address site requirements
Dubai: Imdaad, Dubai World's advanced facility management service provider, unveiled its latest division - Imdaad Power - set up to address temporary power requirements for projects and industries.
The launch of the new division is aimed at enhancing the package of services Imdaad provides to projects in the field of engineering maintenance and consultations in facility and waste management.
Jamal Abdullah Lootah, chief executive of Imdaad, said: "The new division has been set up in response to the increasing demand for power at construction sites in the wake of the booming developments. New urban communities and offshore developments are coming up rapidly and many of these sites have no access to power supply or infrastructure."
"Imdaad Power provides a wide range of services, which primarily include the rental of equipment required for temporary generation of electricity with sufficient capacity to ensure uninterrupted work at the site," he said.
The sizes of the generators provided by Imdaad will range from small diesel units to big containerised power units starting with 30Kva to 1250Kva with sound attenuated enclosures for onboard or dock side needs within the shipping industry.
The new division will also offer additional services related to water-based chillers and air conditioners to supplement the installed process systems or to provide heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) services.
