Investment bank Shuaa Capital appoints deputy CEO
Dubai-based Shuaa Capital investment bank said it created the position of deputy chief executive officer, promoting Kerim Mitri to the role as it expands in the Gulf.
Dubai: Dubai-based Shuaa Capital investment bank said it created the position of deputy chief executive officer, promoting Kerim Mitri to the role as it expands in the Gulf.
Mitri joined Shuaa as chief financial officer in 1996, becoming its chief operating officer in 2005.
Oliver Schutzmann, head of investor relations at Shuaa, said Mitri will oversee the integration of current and future potential acquisitions.
He added, "He will also be responsible for accelerating the development of our fee-based business across the board, investment banking, brokerage and asset management."
