Dubai: Dubai Bank yesterday opened five new branches throughout the UAE.
Following the extensive network expansion, which marks another significant step in Dubai Bank's growth plans for 2007, the number of branches it now offers for the banking convenience of its customers rises from five to ten.
Of the five new branches opened yesterday, three are in Dubai, one in Ras Al Khaimah and one in Al Ain.
"Opening five new branches on the same day is a first-of-its-kind achievement for a bank in the UAE. This very significant step will enhance the position of Dubai Bank, as we continue to establish ourselves as a pioneer in the nation's Islamic banking sector, and richly serve our expanding customer base," said Mohammad Al Shaibani, chairman of Dubai Bank.
