Bank Dhofar net profit jumps to 33.28m riyals
Operating income rose 9.7 per cent to 71.32 million riyals from 65.03 million riyals
Beirut: Oman's Bank Dhofar Wednesday said its 2010 full-year net profit jumped 31 per cent to 33.28 million Omani riyals (Dh317.78 million) from 25.39 million riyals in the previous year.
Operating income rose 9.7 per cent over the same period to 71.32 million riyals from 65.03 million riyals, the lender said in a statement posted on the Muscat bourse website.
Total assets grew by the same rate to 1.63 billion riyals at the end of 2010 from 1.49 billion riyals a year earlier, according to the statement.
Customers' deposits increased 13.5 per cent year on year to 1.25 billion riyals while net loans and advances to customers rose 5.7 per cent to 1.26 billion riyals, the bank said.
Bank Dhofar shares last traded at 0.750 riyals, down 0.4 per cent.
