Dubai: Ahmad Humaid Al Tayer, chairman of Emirates National Bank of Dubai and chairman of the Supreme Committee of the Al Tomooh Finance Scheme for Small National Businesses, inaugurated yesterday two projects - X Architects and Baby Bling.
X Architects services range from architecture to general consultancy, while Baby Bling is a retail outlet for baby apparel that also provides event planning.
The two projects were financed with Dh1 million under the scheme, which has so far spent Dh37 million to establish small Emirati projects nationwide.
Camelia Mohebi, managing director of Baby Bling, said the initiative enables entrepreneurs to start businesses and take advantage of the booming economy. "It's a huge push to start up a business," she said.
