Ajman Bank added to DFM's General Index
Dubai Financial Market (DFM) announced on Saturday the addition of Ajman Bank to the DFM's General Index (DFMGI).
Dubai: Dubai Financial Market (DFM) announced on Saturday the addition of Ajman Bank to the DFM's General Index (DFMGI).
At the same time, the bank will also continue its current listing under the DFM's Banking Index.
A total of 750 million free float shares represent the bank in both the General and Banking Index. Ajman Bank's total outstanding shares are one billion.
The market capitalisation of Ajman Bank represents 1.2 per cent that of DFMGI.
With the addition of Ajman Bank, the total number of companies now listed under the DFMGI has reached 29, and their combined market capitalisation represents around 78 percent of DFM's total capitalised value.
