Dubai: Mercator, the Dubai-based business technology provider, has been selected by Tunisair, the national airline of Tunisia, to supply their RAPID accounting system ASP (application service provisioning) hosting services to the airline.
RAPID, Mercator's airline passenger interline revenue accounting system, has been specially tailored to suit the individual business needs of the North African airline, with Mercator hosting the entire RAPID application in their data centre in Dubai.
This will then be accessed by the Tunisair revenue accounting team from their offices in Tunis, Mercator said in a statement.
Tunisair, which operates a fleet of 29 Boeing and Airbus aircraft, serving more than 52 destinations throughout the world, selected Mercator's RAPID after evaluating systems submitted by nine comparative providers.
