Singapore Airlines grounds A380
Singapore Airlines has grounded one its Airbus A380's for a second due to a faulty fuel-pump.

Singapore: Singapore Airlines has grounded one its Airbus A380's for a second due to a faulty fuel-pump.
The airline instead switched passengers for the flight to Sydney onto smaller 747s.
Singapore Air has ordered 19 of the double-decker planes to cut fuel costs on long-haul routes including Sydney, London and Tokyo. The fuel-pump problem, affecting a new part, was different from the one that forced Singapore Airlines to ground another of its A380s in February.
The carrier also canceled flights in January after a fault with a push-truck caused an A380 to run off the tarmac in Singapore.
